What is Creative Journaling?
Creative Journaling is magic and it’s different for each person.
So you can only really discover what Creative Journaling is for you by experimenting.
Experimenting can sometimes be clumsy and awkward.
What can make it easier is starting with some basic understanding of the tools and techniques. Basic information that can help you get started.
I don’t want to tell you how to do Creative Journaling. I want to help make it easier for you to find your way to do Creative Journaling.
When I was studying Fashion Design in University I took a lot of visual art courses. Like life drawing, fashion illustration and visual communication. I learned a lot of supercool things and I also had a lot of incredibly negative experiences with it.
My creative spirit was crushed repeatedly by teachers telling me that I was doing my art “wrong”.
That I was using the tools wrong or putting colours together wrong or balancing the design principles wrong.
Wrong wrong wrong.
And the problem was that I needed time and space to experiment. I needed to find my own way – not follow someone else’s path.
So this workbook is a gentle introduction you to the tools and materials and techniques in order to make it easier for you to experiment and explore and discover your unique way to do Creative Journaling.
